Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont (6th from right), Chairman and CEO of Charoen Pokphand Group, along with executives welcomed world-renowned scientists from Harvard Medical School and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (USA). The delegation was led by Mr. Isaac
T. Kohlberg (middle) - Senior Associate Provost and Chief Technology Development Officer, Professor George M. Church (5th from left) - Professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School, Professor David Sinclair (5th from right) - Professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School, Professor John Mekalanos (6th from left) - Chair of Department of Microbiology and Immunobiology at Harvard Medical School, and Professor James R. Mitchell (4th from right) - Associate Professor of Genetics and Complex Diseases at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Charoen Pokphand Group and Harvard University initiated a 3-year joint research effort in the fields of biotechnology and food, which commenced on September 1st, 2015. The research alliance focuses on enzyme development, molecular nutrition, microbiology and genetics to advance research in health foods that satisfy the needs of consumers worldwide.
