Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont, Chairman and CEO of Charoen Pokphand Group, today led his executives and employees around the world in a ceremony to pay respect and show their deep gratitude to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej at True Tower in Bangkok, Thailand. The ceremony was televised to and observed at all offices and operations of the CP Group of Companies at 15.52 hours, local time in Thailand.

During the mourning period, the companies and offices will fly the Thai flag at half mast and will provide a book of condolences for employees to pay tribute to His Majesty. Executives and employees of CP Group are also invited to dress in mourning clothes for one year, beginning on 14th October.

CP Group is extremely proud and honored to have had the opportunity to serve His Majesty the King in a large number of Royal Projects to support the Thai people, especially in the agricultural sector. In undertaking these projects, CP Group has been guided by the wisdom of His Majesty the King in order to uplift the well-being of all Thais. The company is eternally grateful to the magnanimous kindness extended by His Majesty the King to the Thai people. In memory of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, CP Group of Companies will continue to follow the teachings and example set by His Majesty and be a positive force for good in Thailand
